OREO FUDGE RECIPE

Only three ingredients needed!

Make this delicious milk chocolate Oreo fudge recipe!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Chocolate of your choice - 300g

  • Sweetened Condensed Milk - 397g tin

  • Oreo cookies - 1 pack (14 cookies)

EQUIPMENT:

  • Baking tray (can use any size depending on how deep you want your Oreo fudge)

  • Bowl

  • Pestle or any grinding tool

  • Saucepan

  • Spoon

  • Greaseproof paper / Aluminium Foil

  • Ziploc bag (optional)

  • Rolling pin (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Line your baking tray with your greaseproof paper.

  2. Crush your cookies in either a bowl or a zip loc bag. I used a bowl and a pestle.

  3. Line the base of your tray with a thin layer of the crushed Oreos.

  4. Put your chocolate and condensed milk into a saucepan and melt on a medium heat until incorporated together. Mix to ensure the bottom does not burn. (A microwavable bowl and a microwave can be used)

  5. Pour the chocolate and condensed milk mixture into the remaining crushed Oreos. You can leave a bit of the mix to add a final layer on top.

  6. If you have left some of the chocolate mixture, pour it over the top at the end.

  7. Refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours.

  8. Cut into slices as desired and enjoy!




TOP TIPS:

  • Have your baking tray ready with your greaseproof paper as the chocolate and condensed milk mixture starts setting quite quickly

  • If you're using a microwave to melt the chocolate mixture, microwave for 30 second intervals and be sure to mix between each interval


OTHER IDEAS:

  • Use other biscuits in place of Oreos, such as Digestive biscuits or Bourbon biscuits

  • Other chocolates can be used as white, dark or mint chocolate
